I would like to apologize for the sudden mood swings last week and for making everyone concerned.
Although i will not leave dA, i will eventually clean out my gallery to remove the old artworks that i'm not particularly satisfied with having, but not just because my artistry had improved since when i drew them. I also want to use my gallery more as a portfolio from now on. Some of the artworks will be put into my scraps, but those that will be deleted will be gone from my gallery forever. By deleting artworks, i will surrender some of my ownership to them as well as certain restrictions on how they can be used by everyone else, and the following conditions shall be applied to such artworks:
All remaining duplicates of the artworks that will be deleted from gallery are allowed to be used by ANYONE for NON-COMMERCIAL PURPOSES as long as the watermarks and/or signatures are not modified and/or removed. If no watermark and/or signature is present in an artwork that will be deleted from my gallery, duplicates of the aforementioned artwork are allowed to be in the PUBLIC DOMAIN and are allowed to be used and claimed by ANYONE for NON-COMMERCIAL PURPOSES as long as no copyrights become violated in the process. For example, conflicts with Hasbro's existing ownership of certain characters should be avoided.
As for the depression, it was generally a result of me being too ambitious. Since i haven't uploaded anything into my gallery since January, i tried to make up for the absence by drawing a new artwork from scratch to set a record time. It was planned to be uploaded on my birthday, but as the silly filly that i was, i spent too much time with the lineart and missed the deadline.
I suppose the artwork can be considered as nothing more than a little practice, and one character didn't look good anyway. It was not a complete loss, though. I was able to notice that i need to seek a better method of drawing. Unbeknownst to me, one such method was already being used in my ask blog. Again, i was a silly filly for not realizing, and now that i do, i will probably look through some related tutorials when i draw next time.
Speaking of drawing next time, i will be streaming an update for my blog in a few minutes. It will only last for a few hours, but at least the blog will be up and running again.
That is all for now, my Sparklings!
Thank you for supporting and sticking around with me! <3
